Image Building Systems was contracted to design, supply, and erect a 60’ x 80’ x 23’ pre-engineered metal building with a 25’ wide lean-to extension, and an entry canopy with soffit in Flagstaff, Arizona. The facility is purpose-built for the production and distribution of packaged ice for beverage coolers. The main structure features an asymmetrical gable roof with extended rakes and eaves, providing both visual interest and enhanced protection from the elements. To support the building’s thermal efficiency requirements, both the roof and walls are equipped with an R-30 ProLiner insulation system—an essential feature for maintaining proper conditions in ice manufacturing. The main building is clad in horizontally oriented PBR wall panels, while the lean-to contrasts with vertically installed PBC panels. A prominent gabled entrance canopy at the lean-to offers a sheltered and inviting point of entry for personnel and deliveries.
